Who is Jamie Taylor?

Who Am I?

I’m Jamie Taylor, and I’m thrilled to have you here. This platform is more than just a way to easily get my teachings to you; it’s a reflection of who I am, what I stand for, and the journey I want to share with you.

I’m not just a name behind all of the creations here; I’m a passionate teacher of all things sensual dance with a vision. My journey began as a young woman very connected to her sacred feminine, who would not stop dancing or walking with my head up and a swish in my hips, no matter how the world around me wanted me to wilt, blend in and be quiet instead. Which ignited my drive to prove to all women who were curious enough to ask, how they could powerfully tap into the Serpent Power within themselves.

Whether that be through celebrating their strength by mastering the most taboo apparatus there is (the stripper pole). Or by connecting deeper with their sensuality via movement meditation praxis.

Why Pole Dance?

Well, there is not only pole dance here. We will also explore free dance, ecstatic dance, and floor dance! All the ways to feel wild and free!

Defy Gravity Pembrokeshire, Serpent Power and Scarlet Temple isn’t just about simple dance tutorials and great in-studio classes; it’s a representation of my values and what I believe in and what helps me keep my life soulful and colourful. How I deny the grey and mundane access to my time and attention. I want to inspire and empower you to do the same and to make the absolute most out of your dance and movement journey on and off the pole.
