Defy Gravity Offers 5 levels of Dance classes:
Serpent Power, Beginner Level, Improver Level, Intermediates and Advanced. Span across our Pole Fitness, Stripper Style, Cardio Pole and Exotic Dance classes.
Beginner Level (Pole Dance Fitness)
This class is perfect for those who have never Pole Danced before, and also those who are working on beginner spins, pole sits, and climbs. Introducing you to the pole, hand grips, walks, spins, sits, dips, body waves, easy choreo and sequences and floor work. Yep, in each and every class! You will become a super sassy, classy pole dancer in no time!
Mondays at 6pm.
Tuesdays at 8pm.
The Dance Hour (Beginner/Improver level)
Traditional Stripper Style to Modern Exotic Pole DANCE technique.
This class covers everything from authentic basics such as posture and shapes, bodywork (waves, ripples, hairography), handwork, platform edgework, traces and floating, also timing of fast and slow for effect in choreo. All the way to complex modern exotic steps, threads, reversals, and all Floorwork from easy basics to advanced freezes and combos.
Most classes are mixed ability with progressions and regressions included, but will be going back to basics to start from scratch for newcomers in early 2019.
Beginner/Improver level experience is necessary before joining this class, unless the class is in its `Back to Sexy Basics` phase.
If you do not have heels for this class, then thigh high socks will have the same effect (I.e- you`ll feel good).
Kneepads are a must.
Wednesdays at 6pm
Improver Level (Pole Dance Fitness)
Includes Full Dance Sequences, Floor Tricks, Routines, Lay-Backs, Inverts, One Handed Spins, Vertical Tricks and S.M Conditioning and Floor Tricks
Tuesdays at 12.30pm
Wednesdays at 7pm
Intermediate Level(Pole Dance Fitness)
Includes inverts, legs hangs, shoulder mounts, complex choreo, flying spins and split grip conditioning and bottom third tricks as well as floor combos.
Mondays at 7.00pm
Advanced Level(Pole Dance Fitness)
Takes it to the top of the pole with aerial shoulder mounts, split grips (aerial and bottom third), complex combos and drops.
